1. I have been reading the Guardians of Ga’Hoole series and I find the characters extremely interesting. Each character has a completely different attitude and way of thinking but in another way they are the same. Twilight is my favourite character, he is the biggest and strongest character and according to me is the most interesting. He calls himself a warrior poet and always sings out a big poem while in war. Each character has their strengths and weaknesses. Gylfie is the navigator but is small, Digger is a great tracker and knows the ground well but isn’t a strong flyer and Soren is a great collier and leader. They are known as the band and are the great heroes of the Great Tree.
2. The characters all met in the first book but all met gradually and not at one time. They met over periods of time and then became great friends. Gylfie and Soren met when they were abducted and after they escaped met Digger and Twilight. Each of the characters slowly learn their skills throughout the series and develop their ways of thinking throughout this time as well. It was definitely effective character description because we slowly learn the mindset and thoughts of the characters.
